The data were collected from August 14 to 23, 2005, aboard the CCGS Amundsen. There were 54 casts, associated to 36 oceanographic stations, in the Northern Baffin Bay. The following parameters were measured: temperature, conductivity and pressure (with a Sea-Bird SBE-9plus), dissolved oxygen (Sea-Bird SBE-43), pH (Sea-Bird SBE-18-I), fluorescence (Seapoint chlorophyll fluorometer), nitrate concentration (Satlantic MBARI-ISUS 5T), transmittance (Wetlabs C-Star transmissometer), light intensity (Photosynthetically Available Radiation (PAR); Biospherical Instruments QCP2300) and surface light intensity (sPAR; Biospherical Instruments QCP2200). Quality control procedures were applied to the data. This Leg was carried out from March 31th 2004 to May 12th 2004 aboard the CCGS Amundsen. There were 91 CTD casts in Leg 6. All of these casts, associated to the overwintering oceanographic station, are located in Beaufort Sea research area. The following parameters were measured: temperature, conductivity and pressure (with a Sea-Bird 911 probe), oxygen (Sea-Bird 43), pH (Seabird 18), fluorescence (Seapoint fluorometer), nitrates (Satlantic MBARI ISUS), transmittance (Wetlabs C-Star transmissometer), Photosynthetically Available Radiation (PAR)/Irradiance and SPAR/Irradiance (Biospherical Instruments QC2300). Data were quality controlled. Data are available on the Polar Data Catalogue and at the Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS) of Fisheries and Ocean Canada.\n\ncdm_data_type = Point\nVARIABLES:\ndepth (m)\nTEMP (sea temperature, degree_Celsius)\nTUR3 (light transmission, percent)\nFLU2 (chlorophyll-a fluorescence, mg/m3)\nPSAL (practical salinity, PSU)\nDENS (sea density [sigma-theta], kg/m3)\nPOTENTIAL_TEMP (sea potential temperature, degree_Celsius)\nSIGMA_THETA (sea sigma-theta, kg/m3)\nDOX1 (dissolved oxygen, ml/l)\nNTRA (Nitrate [NO3-N], MMole/M3)\nLGHT (Immerged incoming photosynthetic active radiation, mE/m2/s)\nLGH4 (Surface incoming photosynthetic active radiation, umole/[m2/s])\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ntime (Valid Time GMT, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\ndepth_QC (depth quality flag, 1)\nTEMP_QC (TEMP quality flag, 1)\nTUR3_QC (TUR3 quality flag, 1)\n...
